 About Sharon

Sharon began studying an arts and design foundation course at 'Mid-Cheshire College of Arts and Design' which she passed with credits. From there she went on to graduate from 'Manchester University' with a B.A (Hons) degree in Art & Design.

In 1990 Sharon moved to North Wales, where with the help of the then 'Enterprise Allowance Scheme' Sharon set up her business specializing as a pet portrait artist.

In 1990 Sharon was on the first artist in Britain to specialize in the field of pet  portraiture. Since then she has gained a reputation for work of the finest quality.

Having won many accolades, including 'Pet Portrait Artist of the Year' , Sharon now has collectors of her work in all corners of the world and is now one of the most sought after and recognized artists in her field.

From the humble beginnings of her business when she started painting the pets of her friends and family, Sharon has now become an internationally recognised artist in a little under 10 years.

 Manchester dogs home

                                    Sharon has always been a supporter of many animal charities and in 1997 she donated both her time and original designs to Manchester dogs home.

Her work went towards compiling there range of merchandise which consisted of T-shirts, stationery and greeting cards.
